On Lake Como, specifically in Civenna, in the mountainous part of the municipality of Bellagio.
This is where we decided to bring our project to life for the development and enhancement of our alpine area. Civenna is a charming village in the municipality of Bellagio with a very ancient history. It ranges from mysterious erratic boulders to historic residences with views of the lake.
Today, it piques the curiosity of its visitors with interesting contemporary art pieces such as the BIG BENCH and examples of neo-muralist art. In the early 1900s, it was the most exclusive village in the entire Larian triangle.
It was a sought-after destination for prominent Milanese families who built magnificent villas to spend the summer months, away from the city heat, while enjoying breathtaking views.
The Giant Bench of Civenna is a work that was born from the vision of American designer Chris Bangle: it can accommodate up to 8 people at a time and offers a fantastic view of the Lecco branch and the Grigne, a symbol of the Lecco pre-Alps.
The street art is the work of the artist NEVE, who depicted the competitive gaze of a cyclist in Civenna.
It is 7 kilometers from the center of Bellagio (you can reach the center by car, taxi or bus) and about 70 kilometers from Milan.
