Movement and nature

Monte Nuvolone is the northernmost peak of the Lariano Triangle and is a little-known destination although it lends itself to an easy climb along marked paths.
It presents a panorama that opens up at various points along its northern ridge, with beautiful views of the lake similar to those of nearby San Primo. Monte San Primo is the highest mountain in the Lariano Triangle (1685 metres).
The view can range 360 degrees from nearby Lake Como to much of the Alpine range.
It is a peak very popular with hikers and families thanks to a simple and danger-free route.

Museums and Villas

On Colle del Ghisallo in Magreglio, you cannot miss a visit to the Sanctuary of the Madonna and the Ghisallo Museum from which you will enjoy an enchanting view as well as admiring the hundreds of memorabilia brought by cyclists of all times: bikes, t-shirts, medals, pennants, cups.
In the Museum the largest collection of pink jerseys in the world and historical pieces left as gifts by cyclists.
Another artistic and botanical jewel absolutely worth seeing in Bellagio is Villa Melzi, built in the early nineteenth century in neoclassical style.
The gardens of Villa Melzi extend along the lake shore and fit harmoniously into the hilly setting of the Bellagio peninsula.

From hay to butter

For over 80 years the Antica Latteria di Bellagio has taken care of the area, preserving its ancient dairy tradition by transforming milk into genuine, quality dairy products.
In 2017 it became part of the cooperative reality of Latteria Sociale Valtellina.
Inside the dairy it is possible to taste the cheeses with local chefs and prepare typical local dishes.
The animals are fed with at least 60% of the fodder coming from the mountain area.
The conditions of the farms are cared for and attentive to the welfare of the animals.
Bellagio Butter is a great dairy specialty with a long history of over 80 years.
